About Michael Lynn Brown
Mike Brown has been painting watercolor, oils and acrylics for over 15 years. Studying online courses and with Mike Rooney, he enjoys painting in an impressionist style with vibrant color compliments. Most of his paintings are from his travels to Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, Bermuda, Caribbean Islands and U.S.A. Mike is a member of the Middle Ga. Art Association, Newnan-Coweta Art Association and his works are represented by "Art On The Avenue" in Macon, Ga.
" I enjoy paintings that pull me in...I want to be there; walking down a sunny country road, strolling on a busy avenue or by the ocean or lake. I enjoy pushing color to the limit in an impressionistic way. My paintings are mostly from photos I have taken in my travels and Plein Air paintings. I admire the works of John Stobart, Mike Rooney, Marc Hanson to name a few.
I mostly paint in oils, but also enjoy watercolors. I use pallet knives and impasto to create a thick paint look with vibrant colors.
My goal is to add a few painting a week and I hope you visit often." Thank you, Mike Brown
